Excellent Training Aid

The Border Crossing scent sticks are the best training scents available. I would know, I've used them all. The scent lasts, even in the water. Slather up a dummy, tie a long rope to it, and drag it through the water to leave a scent trail on the water for your dog to follow on a blind retrieve, and you can begin to teach your dog to be a reliable tracker of cripples. For pups, the scent on the dummy adds another layer of excitement and proper association to every retrieve.

For upland dogs, use one of the upland bird scent sticks on your bird launchers to add more realism to your birdwork sessions. The solid stick lasts longer than liquid scents and you don't end up putting scent where you don't want it.
